While walking the grounds of The Berry Barn, a quaint restaurant just outside Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, I saw some surprising, and some interesting sights. This giraffe sculpture struck my fancy, as it peeks out from the shrubbery. The long rows of flowering plants made me admire the gardener. The view, as we walked along the river, was serene and beautiful. Small whimsies pop into view, like miniature tractors and wagons. A lovely area of the grounds is maintained for a wedding or special gathering. Places like this are a refreshing change from the usual eateries.
