Photo Challenge – Weather Vane Wednesday

Photo Challenge – Weather Vane Wednesday

I finally found a weather vane in Regina, enabling me to take part in the Weather Vane Wednesday photo challenge. This modern style weather vane is located atop the clock tower of Fire Station Number One. This building was built in 1986 at this location, and the original Number One was converted into office spaces.

The Photo Challenge: Each Wednesday, Timeless Lady at  Minding My P’s With Q posts a photograph of a Weather Vane with a short description of where it can be found, and any history connected to it. Anyone is welcome to to join in.

  2. Interesting to see n,s,e,w. The e and w are inverted letters. Smart. Do these turn around when the wind blows? I hope not. Otherwise, I will not use this as a compass.
