Art in the City

Murals are becoming prevalent in our little city. The inner city has quite a variety of styles to be found. I love the bright colours in the mural above. The building is situated beside a playground.
Some of the murals cover almost the entire outside walls. Here are more examples from the same area.

The use of geometric shapes and other images in this example is so creative. Unfortunately, someone has marred this mural with a can of white spray paint.

I believe the man portrayed above is Gabriel Dumont, a a prominent leader of the Métis people in Saskatchewan. This building houses a homeless shelter.
