I spotted this yard ornament in my neighbourhood while out walking this summer. When mandatory masking came into effect, I was surprised to see this face also had a covering.
Then, during Halloween week, the face was lit with an eerie green light.
I think a Santa hat would be appropriate for this season!
2020 has had a wearying effect on all of us as the reality of the Corona Virus Disease made its way into every aspect of our lives. In my mind, a pandemic was something that probably wouldn’t happen in my lifetime, yet happen, it did.
The countries of the world have responded to the Covid-19 crisis in a variety of ways, with varied results. The many precautions implemented here make me feel more confident that the case numbers will be minimized. I’m happy to do my part, hoping to keep myself, and others safe.

I wasn’t quite sure what to think about this display. Check out the website, flatearth101.com advertised on the poster. I can’t determine if the concept is tongue in cheek, or serious, but this fellow was eager to get his point across to any passerby who’d listen.

Richly coloured berries and rose hips adorn the soon to be bare branches.
And finally, this perfect poplar leaf, it’s autumn flight stopped short when it landed on this evergreen branch, seemed as if it wanted to linger for a little while longer.
